Cardinal to host several fundraisers this spring

Cardinal Huskies fans, mark your calendars for some very important events this spring:

ALUMNI BASKETBALL GAME

The Cardinal Huskies will host the Berkshire Badgers in the Second Annual Berkshire-Cardinal Alumni Basketball Game on Saturday, March 21. The women's alumni team will get the evening started with a game at 5:00 pm. The men's under 30 game will begin at approximately 6:30, with the men's 30 & over to follow.

Admission to the games is $5 at the door. All proceeds will go to benefit the Berkshire and Cardinal athletic departments.

FISH FRY

The Cardinal Huskies football team will be having a fish fry each of the next two weeks. The fish fries will be at the Parkman Community House on Friday, March 13 and Friday, March 20 from 4:30 pm – 7:00 pm. This is a great opportunity to eat some great food while supporting our football team and athletic program. We hope to see you there!

HUSKY NATION FOUNDATION FUNDRAISER

If you're a sportsman, this event is for you! The Husky Nation Foundation will be conducting a Outdoor Sportsman fundraiser on Saturday, March 14, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the Auction Barn on Nauvoo Road. There are over $7500 in prizes available.

Tickets for the event are $10.00 and are available at the Middlefield Great Lakes Outdoor Supply. Tickets are also available at the Cardinal High School Athletic Office.

Proceeds from this event will help the Husky Nation Foundation complete Phase I of the Facility Improvement Project this spring. Phase I calls for the construction of a new concession stand building with bathrooms on the north side of the home stands. Construction is slated to begin around May 1 and should be completed in time for the fall sports season.
