CVC lands eight on Division I & II All-Ohio teams

Eight players from around the Chagrin Valley Conference were recognized as All-Ohioans on Thursday.

The Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association concluded its run on postseason honors by releasing its Division I & II boys’ basketball All-Ohioans.

In Division I, Lakeside senior Dasjuan Williams was recognized as an honorable mention All-Ohio after averaging 19.6 points per game this winter.

Lutheran West and Edgewood both landed two players on the Division II All-Ohio teams.

Jayson Levis and Derek Fairley represented the Longhorns on the second team after averaging 18.1 and 10.0 points per game, respectively.

Edgewood’s Zack Vencill (25.0) was a special mention selection and teammate Jacob Ernst (16.5) was named honorable mention.

Orange senior Devin Belle (23.0) also earned special mention honors and West Geauga senior Jerry Kline-Ruminski (14.7) and Hawken junior Taj Caver (14.1) were honorable mention selections.
