Hallie Zumack named Independence Athlete of the Week

Independence senior Hallie Zumack opened the conference season with 49 assists, 12 kills and 16 digs in wins over Perry and Wickliffe.

For her efforts, Zumack was named Independence Athlete of the Week.

“Her stats prove that she is a vital contributor to running our offense and playing defense,” said Independence head coach Megan Osysko. “She works extremely hard to keep the team focused throughout the matches by her leadership and communication on the court. Hallie works hard for every point and helps to bring that same mentality out in her teammates.”
