Cardinal and Cuyahoga Heights battled to a 1-1 draw in Tuesday’s Chagrin Valley Conference Valley Division matchup at Cardinal on Tuesday.
The Huskies remained undefeated at 2-0-1 overall and 1-0-1 in league play.
“It was a very hard fought battle,” said Cardinal coach Mike Topalian. “Both sides had some real chances but the defenses played well. I’m very proud of how we held up against a good team.”
Jacob Revak scored Cardinal’s only goal.
Sophomore Austin Miller continues to play well in his first year defending the net. He recorded 13 saves.
“They came at us hard,” Topalian said.
Cardinal hosts Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin on Thursday at 7:00 p.m.
