Mentor offers football camp

The start of the high school football season is just a few months away, but the Mentor Cardinals are ready to get the future Cardinals a head start.

The Mentor High School football program will be offering a four-day football camp for all elementary students, entering grades 1st through 6th grade. Each participant will be given offensive, defensive and special teams instruction.

Camp will be coached by member of the high school football staff, led by head coach Steve Trivisonno, as well as current players from the Mentor High School football team.

The camp will take place from June 15-June 18 from 9 a.m. to noon and costs $80.

Each student attending camp will receive a camp T-shirt and a student pass to all home games.

Mentor has made the Division I playoffs five years in a row and has compiled a 54-8 record over since 2010. The Cardinals advanced to the D-I state title game in 2013 and the state semifinals in 2012.

For more information on the camp, contact the The Redline Club at 440-463-3243.
