All 16 Mentor players who took the floor scored as the Cardinals rolled to a 9-1 record with a 107-51 win over North on Jan. 17.
“Everybody played, everybody scored. It was a game where Jack (Korsok) only played 12 minutes and we got a lot of guys in the game,” Mentor coach Bob Krizancic said.
“This is a big week with Brunswick and Massillon Jackson coming up. I like where we are and how the effort is solid right now.”
The Cardinals got 18 points from Korsok and 16 from Tadas Tatarunas and Allen Sims in the victory.
Matt Woods hit three 3s and finished with 12 points for Mentor.
The Cardinals scored 56 in the first half and cruised to the win over the final 16 minutes.
