VASJ defeats Holy Name, 78-59, to stay on top of NCL White Division

Carlton Bragg scored 18 points and Dererk Pardon added 16 to lead five players in double figures as Villa Angela-St. Joseph defeated host Holy Name, 78-59, to remain unbeaten in league play and on top of the NCL White Division on Jan. 30.

Tre'Von WIlliams scored 12 points off the bench for the Vikings, who improved to 12-2 overall and 5-0 in the NCL White. Brian Parker scored 11 points and Simon Texidor chipped in 10 for VASJ.

The Vikings outscored the Green Wave in each of the four quarters, leading by five at the end of one quarter and by nine at halftime before putting the game away in the third quarter with a 27-19 frame.

VASJ leads the NCL White Division as the lone undefeated team in the conference.
