Wyatt Kunevicius named Independence Athlete of the Week

Sophomore Wyatt Kunevicius scored six goals last week to lead Independence to a pair of wins.

He scored two against Lutheran West and added four more against Cardinal to keep alive the Blue Devils’ undefeated season.

For his efforts, Kunevicius was named Independence Athlete of the Week.

“Wyatt has worked hard in the offseason in the weight room and has improved tremendously as a sophomore for the Blue Devils this season,” said Independence coach Ryan MacRaild.
