Chagrin Valley Conference commissioner Don Lewis was named the 2018 Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine Distinguished Alumnus of the Year.
The Alumni Association Board of Directors bestowed the award upon Lewis, who graduated from the school in 1980.
Dr. Lewis has been highly involved with the school since his graduation. He serves on the Board of Directors, works with the residents of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and is a great ambassador for the school. He has lectured at over 250 dental meetings, has edited and published four books on topics to assist other dental professionals.
Dr. Lewis will be recognized on Saturday, Oct. 13 during An Evening with the School of Dental Medicine at the Hilton Cleveland Downtown Hotel.
