CVC Cross Country teams earn preseason rankings

The cross country season begins on Saturday but already several Chagrin Valley Conference teams have drawn attention from their peers.

On Thursday, the Ohio Association of Track and Cross Country Coaches released its preseason rankings.

In Division II, Edgewood’s boys’ team ranked 24th with 15 points while the Warriors were 25th in the girls’ rankings with six points.

West Geauga’s boys’ team also appeared in the rankings, coming in at No. 26 with six points.

Chagrin Falls’ girls’ team ranked 17th in Division II with 55 points and Hawken’s girls’ team entered the poll at No. 29 with two points.
