Orange recorded a total of 15 steals in a 49-36 Chagrin Valley Conference victory at Geneva on Saturday.
Casey Smith led the Lions with 14 points and five steals and Mahogany Sanford added 12 points with three steals. Kayden Lawson finished the game with 12 points and nine rebounds.
“It was a pretty balanced scoring night for us,” Orange coach Ship Collins said. “It was also nice to finally have back all of our players back healthy with us too.”
Orange’s defense limited the Eagles to just four second-quarter points.
“It was a great defensive effort tonight from everyone who got in,” Collins said. “We played in the passing lanes and were aggressive on the boards.”
The Lions have won four straight after a season-opening loss to Independence and are now 4-1 overall and 2-0 in league play.
