Lutheran West improves to 4-0 in league play

Tyler Robinson and Tyler West both carded 41s to lead Lutheran West to a 177-232 win over Trinity on Thursday at Red Tail Golf Club in Avon on Thursday.

With the win, the Longhorns improved to 4-0 in the Chagrin Valley Conference Metro Division.

“I felt that we were playing well but lost focus at times,” Lutheran West coach Dale Lehrke said. “The Longhorns were very balanced in scoring with 41, 41, 46, 49, 51 and 53. It is good to be 4-0 in our new conference.”

The Longhorns are 4-0 when shooting 177 or better this season.

“We need to continue to build momentum moving towards the conference year end tournament,” Lehrke said.
