Mitchell scores 41 to lead Beachwood past Geneva in OT

Beachwood’s Jimmie Mitchell scored a game-high 41 points and Jayson Woodrich added 22 to lead the Bison to a 90-84 overtime win at Geneva on Friday.

Geneva opened the game with a 20-8 run but the Bison slowly worked their way back into the contest to force overtime.

Nick Stoltz led the Eagles with 20 points.

Beachwood improved to 4-0 overall and 3-0 in the Chagrin Valley Conference Chagrin Division while Geneva dropped to 1-4, 0-2.

Hare attended Willoughby South High School through the middle of his senior year, then graduated from Berkshire High School in Burton in 1986.
