Richmond Heights spoils Berkshire’s Homecoming

BURTON–Jonathan McWilliams threw for two touchdowns and ran for another to lead Richmond Heights to a 28-15 win at Berkshire on Friday.

With the win, the Spartans improved to 3-4 overall and 1-3 in the Chagrin Valley Conference Valley Division while the Badgers dropped to 1-6, 0-4.

McWilliams ran for 65 yards on 10 carries and completed four passes for 86 yards in the win. Jalen Johnson added 52 yards on 19 carries and caught two passes for 33 yards for the Spartans. Emanuel Sims caught two passes for 53 yards in the win.

Berkshire’s Ryan Pennypacker led all ball carriers with 96 yards on 20 carries and Jacob Brown completed 10-of-20 passes for 150 yards with two touchdown passes.

Haley Adams is a 2016 graduate of Cardinal High School. She is currently in her third year at Hiram College with a major in Communications and a minor in Writing. Haley, a three-sport standout at Cardinal, has participated in many athletic events at Hiram and plans to become a sports broadcaster.
