Stars shine in second annual CVC Volleyball All-Star Matches

BURTON—The stars were out in Burton on Monday night as the Chagrin Valley Conference held its second annual Volleyball All-Star matches.

The Lake Division cruised to a 3-1 win over the Metro Division in the first match while the Chagrin Division edged the Valley Division in the nightcap, 3-2.

Lakeside’s Justin Sanford coached the Lake Division while Lutheran West’s Laura Thrasivoulou led the Metro All-Stars.

Hawken’s Patty Hace guided the Chagrin All-Stars to the win over Kirtland’s Arlayna Newcomer, who coached the Valley Division All-Stars.
