2021 CVC Swimming and Diving Championship Results

Beachwood, Hawken, and Perry claimed divisional titles at the 2021 Chagrin Valley Conference Swimming and Diving Championships.

While the event took on a very different look this winter, thanks to COVID protocols, the championships were as highly contested in years past.

Hawken swept the boys and girls titles in the Chagrin Division while Perry took home the girls title and Beachwood claimed the boys championship in the Valley Division.

The championships began with the diving competition at Beachwood on Friday, Jan. 22. The swimming competition kicked off at Beachwood on Saturday, Jan. 23 and continued on Monday, Jan. 25 at Orange and concluded at Hawken on Tuesday, Jan. 26.

Steve Hare is the Chagrin Valley Conference's Sports Information Director. He also created and publishes, an online publication dedicated to providing hyperlocal coverage to area high school athletic programs. Hare began covering high school sports for the Lake County News Herald in 1997. Hare attended Willoughby South High School through the middle of his senior year, then graduated from Berkshire High School in Burton in 1986.
