Bison sweep rival Lions

Beachwood staked claim to bragging rights with a 25-11, 25-17, 25-9 win at rival Orange on Monday.

Cassidy Gilliam led the way for the Bison with 19 assists and she also recorded nine digs. Kymani Miller added five kills and three aces and Dami Aletor finished the night with seven kills.

“Beachwood truly displayed what team is during their win against Orange,” Beachwood coach Tiffany McFarland said. “My hitters Kyimani, Dami and Erion were aggressive and smart at the net. Our setter Cassidy was remarkable tonight. She set up her hitters that contributed kill after kill. Beachwood is playing at an all-time high. Our record 18-1 truly shows that.”
