CVC baseball teams earn preseason rankings

The Ohio High School Baseball Coaches Association on Monday released its preseason rankings and several Chagrin Valley Conference teams were among those recognized.

In Division I, Harvey earned four votes to come in at No. 27.

Chagrin Falls earned the No. 6 slot in Division II and Kirtland Hawken both earned a ranking in Division III. The Hornets came in at No. 10 while the Hawks were right behind them at No. 11.

Finally, in Division IV, Independence drew six votes to enter the season rankings at No. 22.
