CVC track athletes run to D2 regionals

Chagrin Valley Conference teams competed in multiple district meets over the weekend.

Edgewood’s Sarah Coxon and Lydia Randolph both won district titles at Lakeview. Coxon tossed the shot put 39-feet, 5 ¾-inches to win that event and Randolph topped the 3200-meter run field with a time of 11:35.28. Randolph won her preliminary heat in the 800 with a new school record of 2:19.89 but opted out of the event in Saturday’s finals.

Listed below are the regional qualifiers from the Division II meets at Bedford, Lakeview, and Orrville.
