Eagles sweep Dragons

ASHTABULA–Jordan Vencill recorded 15 kills and Morgan Stoltz added 29 digs to lead Geneva to a 3-0 sweep of host Lakeside on Tuesday.

The Eagles, who improved to 15-3 overall and 6-0 in the Chagrin Valley Conference Lake Division, won the match 25-17, 25-15, 25-16.

Kaitlyn Minarik and Myla Rhodes each contributed with seven kills and Becca Quirk led the Eagles with 20 assists.

Lakeside dropped to 8-9, 4-5.

Geneva hosts second-place Perry on Thursday while Lakeside hosts Edgewood.
