Jenna Hoeh also scored and Aubrey Zanella and Emily Cochran contributed with assists.
“I was proud of the hard work and grit shown by the midfield today,” said West Geauga coach Kori Chapic. “South is a talented team and they gave us a great game. We will continue working hard with a goal of finishing the season strong and entering the playoffs playing our best soccer.”
Ehrbar’s first goal came just two minutes into the game off a Zanella pass. Hoeh made it 2-0 after finishing off an Ehrbar pass.
Cochran set up Ehrbar’s second goal, which came three minutes into the second half.
“Jenna Hoeh, Emily Cochran, Aubrey Zanella, Grace Keiper and Rae Ehrbar worked tirelessly all game in the midfield for the Wolverines,” Chapic said. “Jillian Smith had eight saves to earn the shutout in her first career appearance in goal.”
