PEPPER PIKE—West Geauga’s Josh Irwin scored a game-high 27 points but host Orange countered that with a balanced scoring attack that led to a 68-52 win.
Myles King, Donald Hughes, Scott Minor, Harrison Pyner and Nicholas Walters all scored in double figures for the Lions, who picked up their first win of the season.
King led the Lions with 18, Hughes added 14, Minor and Pyner finished with 12 each and Walters contributed with 10.
Minor drained three 3s in the first quarter as the Lions built a 25-10 lead and King scored 12 of his 18 in the second as Orange took a 11 lead at the break.
Irwin scored 12 points in the fourth quarter to help West Geauga close the gap.
Keegan Barnhart added 11 points for the Wolverines.
