Four named All-Ohio in Division II

The Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association on Tuesday released its Division II girls’ basketball All-Ohio teams.

West Geauga junior Athena Hocevar earned third-team honors after averaging 17.5 points per game for the Wolverines, who reached the Division II district championship game.

Geneva’s Jordan Vencill and Orange’s Kaydan Lawson both were named special mention and Perry’s Madyson Hacking earned honorable mention honors.

Vencill, a senior, averaged 18.3 points per contest for the Eagles and Lawson, also a senior, scored 18 points per contest.

Hacking, a junior, averaged 13.4 points per game.

Division III and IV All-Ohioans were announced on Monday.
