Geneva opens with sweep of Harvey

Geneva’s tennis team opened the 2020 season with a decisive 5-0 win over visiting Harvey on Monday.

Gabbi Selman, Cynthia Seames and Mackenzie DiPofi set the tone with 6-0, 6-0 sweeps in singles play and the Eagles also swept both doubles matches.

Amelia Riddell and Maddie Fortney teamed up to win at first doubles and Annalisa Ellsworth and Lauren Stark swept at second doubles.

Geneva travels to Lakeside on Wednesday.
