GATES MILLS—Hawken won four individual championships on the way to placing fourth overall at the 50th Annual Hawken Invitational Tournament on Saturday.
The Hawks finished with 131 points behind Brecksville (177 ½), Benedictine (154 ½) and Cleveland Central Catholic (140). Independence placed eighth with 110 ½ points while Cardinal was ninth with 108, Chagrin Falls finished 11th with 86 ½, Beachwood placed 13th with 68 and Trinity was 16th with 44 ½ points.
Winning titles for Hawken were Patrick Reineke (106), Jackson Reineke (126), Jacob Hlifka (138) and William Lindsey (285). Jeremy Leizman (4th, 132), Christian French (6th, 126) and Jay Doyle (6th, 170) also placed for the Hawks.
Cardinal’s Jerry Rose (160) also won an individual tournament championship.
