Kirtland sweeps Grand Valley Quad

ORWELL—Led by individual champions John Sayle and Reilly Greenlee, Kirtland swept the boys and girls team titles at Grand Valley’s quad meet on Wednesday.

Sayle ran a time of 17:53 to beat second-place finisher David Steimle of Grand Valley by nearly two full minutes. Steimle finished in 19:52.

Greenlee won the girls’ race with a time of 22:33. Kirtland’s Julie Namciu finished second in 23:04.
