Orange’s Kaydan Lawson scores 1,000th point

Orange senior Kaydan Lawson scored a game-high 34 points to lead the Lions to a 53-48 comeback victory over visiting Beachwood on Wednesday.

Among those 34 points was the 1,000th of Lawson’s decorated three-year career at Orange.

Lawson now has scored 1,019 points in her career with 561 rebounds and 238 blocked shots.

The Lions close out the regular season at West Geauga on Saturday.
