Spartans cruise to win at Kirtland

Gbolahan Adio scored a game-high 26 points and Josiah Harris added 22 to lead Richmond Heights to an 84-35 win at Kirtland on Friday.

Adio drained six 3-pointers in the win. Harris finished with three 3s.

Jevontae Jones and Ibn Edwards also scored in double figures for the Spartans with 17 and 10 points, respectively.

Richmond Heights led 19-8 after the first quarter and 39-19 at halftime. The Spartans outscored the Hornets in the third quarter, 25-7, to seal their win.

Zach Samsa led Kirtland with 20 points.

Haley Adams is a 2016 graduate of Cardinal High School. She is currently in her third year at Hiram College with a major in Communications and a minor in Writing. Haley, a three-sport standout at Cardinal, has participated in many athletic events at Hiram and plans to become a sports broadcaster.
