Wickliffe earns sweep of Newbury

Wickliffe improved to 11-7 overall with its 3-1 nonconference win at Newbury on Monday.

The Blue Devils won the match 25-11, 23-25, 25-23, 25-9.

Elizabeth Lesco recorded 25 digs and three aces in the win while Kelly Ponzani contributed with 11 kills and a block. Bridget Burkett added eight kills and a block for the Blue Devils.

Wickliffe hosts Lutheran West on Tuesday.
