MIDDLEFIELD–West Geauga opened its season with a 3-0 sweep of host Cardinal on Wednesday in the debut of CVC TV.
The Wolverines opened the match with a 25-19 win then ended with back-to-back 25-20 wins.
Erin Piczer led West Geauga with four kills and also posted five blocks and Hannah Laurich contributed with five blocks and seven service points.
Haley Domen led Cardinal with 25 digs, 13 assists and nine kills while Jessie Proch added eight kills and Alaina Strever recorded 16 digs.
