Yonker paces Tigers in win at Orange

Jenson Yonker scored a game-high 22 points to lead Chagrin Falls to an 81-62 Chagrin Valley Conference Chagrin Division win at Orange on Tuesday.

Yonker added five rebounds and six assists in the win and Matthew Suzelis pitched in with 15 points and six rebounds and Josh Norton added 13 points and four assists.

“We played a terrific game offensively,” Chagrin Falls coach Dave Bargar said. “Our ball movement and passing was outstanding as evidenced by our 26 assists as a team. We got great contributions from a lot of players tonight both offensively and defensively.”

Scott Minor led the Lions with 16 points and Ray Bonner and Donald Hughes also scored in double figures with 14 and 11, respectively.

Chagrin Falls improved to 9-6 overall and 7-5 in league play while Orange dropped to 3-11, 3-8.
