Kyle Calvey and Victoria Kattler saw their Cuyahoga Heights careers end but not before earning the 2020 Chagrin Valley Conference Senior Sportsmanship Award.
Calvey and Kattler are both three-sport standouts and excellent students and citizens.
Calvey competed in football, wrestling and baseball at Cuyahoga Heights. He closed out his career with eight varsity letters and was named honorable mention all-district and second-team All-CVC in baseball.
In the classroom, Calvey was a four-year member of the Merit and Honor Rolls, a CVC All-Academic selection and part of the First Ring Leadership Academy. He also participated in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
Kattler competed in cross country, swimming and softball for the Redskins.
A two-time state qualifier in swimming, Kattler holds the school record in the 200-meter relay, 200 medley relay and 400 free relay. She was named first-team All-CVC in the 200 freestyle.
Kattler has been an honor roll student all four years in high school and she also earned AP Scholar Honors and was named to the CVC All-Academic Team. She participates in the First Ring Leadership Academy, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Jazz/Marching/Concert Band, Chamber Orchestra and is the president of the National Honor Society.
