Lutheran West’s Josh Maslanich rolls his way to All-Ohio honors

Lutheran West junior Josh “J.T.” Maslanich rolled a 635 at the 2022 OHSAA Division II state bowling championships on Friday to earn first-team All-Ohio honors.

Maslanich rolled a 231 in his first game, a 181 in the second, and he finished off the tournament with a 223.

“I’m really excited,” he said. “I can’t even describe it right now. I didn’t think I was going to get this far and to get this far is really exciting. I thought I was going to get second team, so to get first team is really cool.”

Maslanich placed 36th at state as a sophomore with a score of 549.
